Doug Milstein, a lifelong resident of Amityville, Long Island, is passionate about business, building meaningful relationships, and helping others achieve their goals. His unconventional path to real estate has equipped him with diverse experiences and insights, which he now brings to his clients.

For over a decade, Doug served as Co-Founder and Chief Business Officer of UTP High Schools, an international education company he built from the ground up. In this finance and operations-focused role, he excelled at managing complex projects, fostering clear communication, and building trust among diverse stakeholders, and leading the company through a successful sale — skills that translate seamlessly into real estate.

Doug’s transition into real estate was inspired by his years of working closely with host families across Long Island, where he witnessed firsthand the emotional and financial significance of homeownership. Recognizing that buying or selling a home is one of life’s most important financial decisions, Doug is committed to guiding his clients through the process with confidence and ease. His experience owning and managing vacation rentals in Montauk and Puerto Rico, along with his personal real estate transactions, gives him a comprehensive understanding of the market and a keen eye for value.

When not working, Doug enjoys spending time with his wife and their two daughters, Maya and Eden. Growing up along the shores of Long Island, Doug developed a love for the water, which led to rewarding years as an ocean lifeguard. His passion for surfing has taken him around the world, including studying in Australia, teaching English in Peru, and working as a surf guide in Fiji. These experiences broadened his perspective and enhanced his ability to connect with people from all walks of life. As a former Division I athlete and NCAA Academic All-American, Doug embodies hard work, resilience, and discipline.
